You might be an artist [who would like to introduce yourself and your work here or maybe you’re a business with a mission to describe]. Or you might be a man in a little house, with a little car, in a little big city, with a little girl. You might be trying to get somewhere. Maybe you even thought you were going somewhere. How did I get here? Where was I going? And then you ask yourself, why does anyone make art anyways?
And then it’s a kid who really knows the answer.
I joke when i say that being an artist is a curse but making art and showing and selling my whole life and it doesn’t feel like anything except something that I have to do to stay sane. My collections [are as] vast [as an ocean] and my portfolio is as widespread and diluted. I’m a print enthusiast and a digital curio, and for you scientists BFA at Colorado State University. Shows in Milwaukee, Chicago, Colorado, Italy, and San Francisco. I’m a Dad, a husband, an old soul, and (I think) a good dude.
I’m currently trying to revive myself as a working artist while I continue to tackle the task of being a caretaker, having stopped practicing freelance design regularly once we were trying to raise a preschooler and concurrently travel the world. I work at the Art Explosion, a workspace and vanity gallery with a location blocks from our middle school.
